8 Things to consider when choosing a place for staycation

I highly recommend this place for staycation dahil sa napakamodernong disenyo at kumpletong amenities.

Ano ba ang mga dapat na ma-consider in choosing a place for staycation? Here are some tips from biyahenisanty03:

1. Affordable- Dapat swak sa budget. Worth it ang gastos.

2. Spacious-Malawak at kasya ang buong pamilya. Hindi mahirap kumilos. May space for activity area.

3. Clean and comfortable-Madalas kong banggitin ang kalinisan ng isang lugar, no rats, flies or cockroaches. Mabango ang mga linen. Malinis ang mga comfort rooms.

4. Complete amenities-Iyong kumpleto na lahat at you won’t have to worry about everything. Nandiyan na iyong gas range, kitchen utensils, may refrigerator, microwave. Kabilang na rin dito iyong facilities for entertainment and sports equipment. What I love in Duplex Villa Tagaytay iyong kumpleto sila may free fresh herbs pa like parsley, cherry tomato and lemon grass.

You can use these with no additional charge

Yes to Wifi

Herbs everywhere

Go on biking!

Ilabas ang galing sa pagkanta...

Billiard mode
Outdoor wide screen (It's movie time)

6. Proximity to tourist spots-This is something to consider para naman maexplore ang tourist attractions sa isang lugar.

Ang lamig sa Tagaytay!

7. Approachable staff-From booking hanggang sa day ng staycation, importante na approachable ang mga staff and mabilis silang magrespond sa iyong queries.

8. Secure and peaceful environment-The area should be well-secured and peaceful din para naman mas lalong maging maganda ang staycation.

Kung nag-iisip ka pa ng ibang place for staycation, maraming choices ang makikita sa internet at madalas na ma-offer ang mga condominium or nature inspired resort. So next time, try to consider the abovementioned reminders. Happy Staycation!!

Buhay Zero Waste

Just imagine kung ganoon karami iyon.

Zero waste is defined as “an advocacy that promotes the designing and managing of products and processes to avoid and eliminate the volume and toxicity of waste and materials. It is also defined as a goal that is ethical, economical, efficient and visionary to guide people in having a resourceful lifestyle, in which discarded materials can be re-designed as resources for others to use.”

 Imago Dei: https://www.facebook.com/imagodeicares/

3. Paggamit ng shampoo and conditioner bars

Madalas kong gamitin ang mga shampoo and conditioner in sachets or iyong nasa plastic bottles pero dumating sa punto na I decided to shift dahil nag-pile up na ang mga used sachets sa loob ng bathroom.

Nakita ko lang sa Facebook newsfeed ang The Eco Shift: a zero plastic store and then I decided to try their products and sa ngayon ay isa na rin akong distributor.

"Our mission is to help everyone shift from plastic use to eco friendly options limiting waste products. We will do this by providing quality, affordable and accessible eco friendly personal care products."
I encouraged my family, friend and officemates to shift na rin and nakakatuwa lang dahil marami na ring naimpluwensyahan.

Kapag may travel, I bring the travel kit so less plastic contribution na rin sa lugar na aking patutunguhan.

Home Office: https://www.facebook.com/TheEcoShift/

5. Pagsali sa Buhay Zero waste Facebook group at Buhay Zero Waste preloved

Natuwa ako dahil may group na may advocacy ng zero waste. Dito ako nakakabasa ng mga real life experience nila towards Zero waste.

This community advocates zero-waste practices and aims to become a platform for ONLINE DUMPSTER-DIVING. This community was created to connect 1.) people who have items/possessions that they no longer want, with 2.) people who might want, need, or have a use for them.

The community was created in the hopes that people would send less trash to landfills, by potentially finding others who might want to use/repurpose the items first. "One man's trash is another man's treasure," so they say. All items within the group are free of cost.

This is a venue for people to be able to donate or give away personal belongings.

 Facebook link: https://www.facebook.com/groups/buhayzerowaste/

https://www.facebook.com/groups/buhayzerowastepreloved

Second to oil, the clothing and textile industry is the largest polluter in the world. Thrifting helps the environment because 1) it lowers carbon footprint, 2) decreases landfill waste and 3) encourages recycling.

Wearing ukay-ukay would never make you look cheap pero dapat pa ring maging maingat sa pagpili.

Ang sabi nga ni Wangari Maathai, “The environment and the economy are really both two sides of the same coin. If we cannot sustain the environment, we cannot sustain ourselves.”

A secret getaway revealed! Bukidnon Hobbit House

Temperaturang kaylamig...
Sariwang hangin...
Magandang paligid...

Kitanglad Agri-Eco park where "The Hobbit house of Bukidnon" is located.

Warning: Mahirap itong puntahan. Kakailanganin mong sumakay sa habal-habal from city proper.

Perfect ang Mt.Kitanglad Agri-Eco Park for camping, trekking, bird watching at kahit soul searching. Fresh kasi from the mountain kaya para kang naliligo na may kasamang yelo.

The Lord of the Rings”.

Share ko lang mga kapatid ang aming “overnight” experience here and what you will see inside the Agri-Eco Park.

1. The Hobbit House

On-going pa lamang ang construction nito, hindi pa siya pwede for accommodation so ang tanging magagawa mol ang ay magphoto-op. Nakakatuwa lang kasi napaka-creative ng pagkakagawa. Heto ang ilan sa mga photo ko with the “Hobbit House”

2. Tree House

Good for 2-3 persons ito for only PhP 750 at take note, may kasama na iyong free breakfast.

No need for airconditioned kasi nga sobrang lamig dito.

Enjoy the moments lang sa loob at labas ng tree house and wait for the sunrise.

3. Bird’s Nest
